SHIPPING RATES

In most cases, kfurtadowines.com offers standard and express delivery options via FedEx. The delivery costs of these options vary based on the weight and distance. When placing a kfurtadowines.com order, all delivery options and rates available for your particular order will appear during the "Shipping Info" step of the checkout process. (Some states allow only standard ground shipping for alcohol.)

Note that the first $100 in value is covered by FedEx, but anything above that requires additional insurance. The insurance will cover the shipment if it is damaged by the common carrier. It does not cover weather related damage. 

DELIVERY SCHEDULE

Provided all items are in stock and weather permitting, all orders are shipped within a week from your order date.

SHIPPING TIPS

Legal constraints can sometimes complicate shipping wine, but we are dedicated to making the process as straightforward as possible. We recommend that you take the following precautions to avoid extra delays and complications:

• Ship wine to a day-time address where an adult will be present. An adult 21 years of age or older must be present to sign for any wine delivery. Wine cannot be left at an address without this signature.
• Please be sure that your address is complete and proper.

WEATHER RESTRICTIONS

All wines leaving K.FURTADO WINES have been stored in ideal temperature controlled environments. Because we care about the condition of how your wine arrives, especially during summer months, express shipment options may be the only shipping choice. Express delivery is intended to minimize the chance of heat damage. In extreme conditions, we will hold certain wine shipments to various parts of the United States that are experiencing high temperatures.
